A healthy lifestyle is very important to us, and we believe that educating our community, especially children, about healthy eating and being active is a benefit that can change lives in a positive direction. That is why we have sought out partners that focus on these objectives. To further the mission of Fruit Bliss to educate on healthy and sustainable living, we collaborate with the following charity organizations:
HealthCorps: HealthCorps’ vision is to lead a nationwide movement toward a new generation of healthy young people, implementing an innovative in-school model that inspires teens to make healthier choices for themselves and their families. Founded by heart surgeon and two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz and his wife Lisa, to combat the childhood obesity crisis.
NYCHSF: An organization that introduces plant-based foods and nutrition education into schools.
HealthClass 2.0: An experimental learning program that engages New York City youth in a new conversation about health, food and exercise; including exhilarating workouts and healthy eating.
Yoga Foster: Helping teachers start a yoga program in their classroom, during the school day. Through training, curriculum and yoga mats, teachers teach movement and mindfulness. It's 100% free for teachers at Title 1 schools.
These are all non-profit organizations that we have built relationships with and have personally seen the benefits from. As Fruit Bliss continues to grow, so will our commitment to supporting the community and other organizations that share our same purpose.
